What was your dynamic with the guys taking photographs?I remember as a soldier, I personally was really angry with them. Even though I came from a relatively left-wing background, I was really angry with the photographers. I felt that they were disrupting me from doing my job because I knew that I wouldn’t hit someone for no reason. Only after I completed my duty, my soldiers tell me they used to slap people around during their guard duty when there was no commander next to them – and then I understood the value of the cameras.
What does it mean to slap people around? Hit them, throw the weapon’s flash guard on them (hit them with the butt of the rifle)…
Where? At Shoter checkpoint, at Gilber checkpoint, where there’s no commander watching.
